I am an experienced senior leader with a track record of delivering change and results through a focus on people and customers.

I joined DWP as the Director for Counter Fraud, Compliance and Debt in August 2019 where I lead around 9000 people across 7 different business areas. The directorate delivers three major services: Debt collection, administration and issue of National Insurance Numbers and Counter Fraud and Compliance. I also lead on Strategy, Risk and Quality Assurance. I am the Head of the Counter Fraud Profession for the Department and sit on the cross-government Counter Fraud function board.    I am also the SRO for the Fraud Error and Debt Portfolio which is delivering digitally enabled change to support our Fraud and Error reduction strategy.

Prior to that I had spent nearly 15 years at HMRC where I qualified as a Tax Inspector and led teams which tackled serious fraud, illegal working, and tax avoidance.

Earlier in my career I started out in the private sector with British Telecom when I first graduated, where I was a Marketing Professional – roles included Market and Business planning and Customer Care Champion.
