Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Running safe events for our communities is our priority

We are highly committed to the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and the wider community. We have adopted the NHS COVID Pass for venues and events in England to ensure a safe event for everyone involved:

NHS COVID Pass

We ask all attendees to bring with them (either on their phone or as a printed copy) a copy of their NHS COVID Pass valid on the day of event entry. You will be asked to show your pass every time you enter the event space so please keep it to hand at all times during the event.

How to get one?

You can get a NHS COVID Pass, obtained most easily via the NHS App, if you have been double vaccinated 14 days prior to the event or you have a negative LTF or PCR test within 48 hours of creating the pass. You can find more information on the NHS COVID Pass for events here

This guidance has been updated on 26th July 2021 based on government announcements from the 12th July confirming that all events can take place from the 19th of July. Please continue to monitor this page for our latest advice and information ahead of the event.

We encourage you to minimise touchpoints, be aware of those around you and follow the signage at the event. We are implementing a no handshake policy. Please refrain from this or sharing business cards with one another. Exhibitors are encouraged to used data capture devices to ensure contact-free sharing of business details.

SANITISING STATIONS

For the purpose of personal hygiene, hand sanitiser stations will be provided but please bring your own personal supply if possible. Please sanitise your hands upon entry to the event and after touchpoints.

ENHANCED CLEANING MEASURES

To ensure the safety of all, the venue has introduced enhanced deep-cleaning measures, with an additional focus on high-frequency touchpoints, such as lifts, counters, toilets, doors, seating, meeting areas and handrails.

EVENT AND VENUE FACILITIES

The cloakrooms at the QEII Centre will still be open for use but please only bring what is required. Please see below for the venue’s specific COVID-19 measures.

After the Event

TRACK AND TRACE

We are passionate about ensuring the safety of our visitors and exhibitors. In order to keep everyone safe, please have the NHS Track and Trace app installed on your mobile device. Using the app will allow for the local authorities to contact you if there is any need to. Please ensure you give accurate information throughout the registration process.

GIVE US YOUR FEEDBACK

Tell us how we did by completing the post-event survey that will be sent to you after the event. We highly value the feedback of all our visitors & exhibitors and would love to hear from you on anything you enjoyed, anything we can improve on and also how you found the safety measures at our event. Keep an eye on your emails after the event.

Our COVID-19 Safety Plan reflects the requirements of the UK government, the local authorities, our industry association, AEO (Association of Event Organisers) and the QEII Centre, where the event is hosted. As new developments arise over the coming months, the approach will continue to adapt, and we will keep the community informed of any changes. If you have any questions, please email us at info@counterfraudconference.co.uk and we’ll be happy to support you.
